I just purchased and installed the new Side Storage Box from Zekzoop. Installation was pretty easy, about 20-25 minutes and I’m pretty novice at car installation. Just 2 plates that bolt around the stock roof rails very securely and a bunch of super strong magnets on the bottom. I feared scratches from the magnets so I put a towel under during installation but I don't think it’s too necessary as the magnets are covered with a solid rubber that seems pretty scratch proof. The bolts on top along with the magnets on bottom creates a solid feel and secure fit.

The box does not open, I believe its designed that way to create a more tactical look while giving the magnets some side cover so its harder to get to them.

So far I like the look of it on the driver side. I haven't added any attachments to it and mileage hasn’t changed notably so far.

Pretty satisfied with the look especially with the price and ease of installation. Pictures show angles and video shows the top plates that you bolt around the rail. One picture shows it with the wing spoiler they also sell.

I tried to get every angle, hope this helps!

Interesting. Not a fan of magnets though. Dust WILL work under them and damage the paint. I would recommend some kind of vinyl sticker under them.

I'm confused. It's a storage box but it doesn't open?

I'm thinking this could work with the ARB roofrack, with a bit of finagling.... Do you think so?

Correct it does not open. Its just the shape of a box instead of a panel

I had to look this up too. They named it confusingly by calling it a "Storage Box". Its essentially a molle panel with some thickness to it.
Thanks for your correction! We will develop the name.

a bunch of Toyotas
if you leave it attached all the time, your paint will be fubar where those rubber magnet feet touch
best to attach this when you need it and put it away when no in use...if you care about paint

rubber feet always grind micro dust into paint over time
