Got it. I couldn’t put a torque wrench on it without the bolt wanting to turn

that’s exactly what I did and it worked well. My only concern is it’s hard to tell if you are overtightening them. They only require 18 ft lb of torque which does not sound like much.

I would assume then in the future we should be able to add the stabilizer bar mechanism to our 25’s for $1200 rather than the $6500 I’m seeing for the part alone online (if I’m looking at the correct part)

It grabs a very minimal area. Like an eighth of an inch. I’m worried about strength. They say to only tighten to 18 ft lb of torque. Doesn’t seem like much. I ordered them before any of this was ever mentioned. They weren’t aware of these trucks being built without the threaded holes.

You think I can get by with just the one washer for each blind bolt? I asked on the phone but they didn’t say whether it would make a difference. I’m waiting on the remaining hardware to be sent to me and I’ll give it another go. Thanks for the info!

8-9 week lead time before I received them. Cali Raised emailed me about 6 weeks after ordering to ask me if I have threaded holes on my frame to mount them. Apparently some of the new 4Runners don’t have pre threaded holes on the frame. I checked and I only have two threaded holes on the frame...

Why would it ride rougher on the road?

I have a set of OEM running boards removed from a 25 TRD ORP Hybrid with under 500 miles. Like new condition. Includes mounting bolts. Local pickup only. I am located in Huntington Beach.
