You’re never gonna be able to decide. Just go with the lightest one I guess.

I went with nitto terra grappler g3 in SL load. For me wet traction and quietness/comfort was more important and from the reviews it’s the best one. That’s not to say they are as comfortable as the factory tires. They are still a little more rough and tad bit louder. Just got them a day ago so still experimenting with it.

I did have the falkens on my 24 tundra on stock wheels E load. Those were very heavy but enjoyed them, they were surprisingly comfortable and not loud at all. Then again the tundra itself was more comfortable than the 4Runner so not really apple to apple comparison.
Please keep us updated on the G3's. I have been thinking about them for my Pro and there's not a lot of real world feedback out there. Thanks in advance!

I installed the G3s on my GX460 last year and I really enjoyed them for the first few thousand miles. Then I did my first rotation and they felt very unbalanced. I took them back to the shop and had them road force balanced again (5K miles) and it helped but wasn't great. Additionally, after 5K miles, they were getting noisy on some surfaces during my daily commute. I wouldn't say the volume was loud, it was mostly the tone that I found annoying.

I ended up selling the G3s and I'm currently running the Cooper Road + Trail A/Ts. So far so good. They do seem to be quieter than the G3s and on my OEM Black Line wheels they just look better than the G3s.

Thanks for the added info! I had the Cooper Road + Trail A/Ts on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they were the best tires I've been on. Was hoping they would come in a size for my Pro, but alas they don't...

I am looking for 275 70R 18 and would prefer not to have an E load, but there's not a lot to choose from. Might just stick with the Toyo's in that size with an E rating, as they are lighter then most out there and it seems like the ride isn't too rough...

At 100 miles, switched to Toyo Open Country A/T III LT275 /70 R18 125S E-rated on our optional TRD PIO black wheels.

At 1300 miles, installed Fox Performance Series 2.0 front struts (2" lift) & rear shocks with Peak Performance 1" rear spring spacer.

Ran the same Toyo tires for 5+ years on our 2020 Ford Ranger. Good performance & wear with slight tread whine, but quiet for an A/T tire. A bit clunky feeling on bumps due to the extra weight which is lighter than most E load tires. No flats or punctures, even while aired down offroad.

Overall our ORP averages around 21 MPG with 22+ at times.

Thanks so much Red Dog! Really appreciate it. What pressure are you running for day to day? I've read that around 33 psi is the best for ride comfort on the highway and around town. Is that what you're finding? Nice rig by the way!

Attached below is the document "Guidelines for the Application of Load and Inflation Tables" from Toyo's website. Calculations help determine correct tire pressure for different tires.

Using those calculations will likely result in a fairly high PSI and a jarring ride.

Running PSI that is too low, runs the risk of overheating the sidewalls in addition to lower MPG.

There are also threads on here about using the Chalk Test to determine proper inflation.

I run 36-37 PSI in our E-load tires. Ride is fine unless the road is crappy.

to the extent anyone finds this helpful, this was a comparison chart I put together when I was deciding to replace the OEM Toyo Open Country AT3s on my TRD PRO.

I would add that you can go up a little with 275/65/18 vs the 275/70/18 and still be within almost spec height. I did the G3's, but I've had the Falken's and Toyo as well. I wanted to try out the Terra Grappler G3's but if I had to pick one with no other options out there it would probably be the Falken's.

I had 35x12.5x16 Ridge Grapplers on my Rubicon (before coming to the 4R side) - For those that said they are quiet, give them time. They will be louder. That said, when my factory set wears off, I'll look at Scorpion or going back to the Ridge Grapplers again, they handle well in most situations (wet could have been better) and offer great protection (sidewall and deep tread)

I currently have Ridge Grapplers, they're decent. They are getting louder as I have almost 15k miles on them. They don't perform well in the rain compared to the Wildpeak AT4Ws I had on my 5th gen. I'll most likely switch to AT4Ws after these wear out.

Currently have the Toyo ATIII that came stock on my 26 Pro. Not hating on the tire but I will not get these again. Have 8K for mileage and they seem to be wearing out pretty quickly. Just my 2 cents.
