We've taken our TRD Sport with the stock 20" Yokohamas on muddy roads twice and both times we almost slid into the ditch until I engaged 4Hi. Then, it barely handled the mud without getting us into trouble. Needless to say, I'm looking for something else when it comes time to replace the stock wheels and tires.

I would like to step down to 17" wheels (I'm old-fashioned) and either a good A/T like the Wildpeaks or something like the BFG Mud Terrain T/A KM3. The tread on the KM3 appears to eat muddy roads for breakfast but 90% of our driving is on paved roads. I've read this thread from the beginning and appreciate everyone's take on A/Ts but I didn't read much about mud which is a big concern for me.

Tried to do a fair bit of research, and ended up sticking with the AT3's for what we do and where we'll go. Just upsized a bit.
Our new tires are E load, which I actually prefer.

Looked hard and almost pulled the trigger on the Baja Bosses but they seemed quite a bit heavier.
Had R/T01's and K02's on our previous truck and they were good for us so looked at the KO3's, but decided on getting something that was considered a good lighter weight all rounder with 3 peak certification.
