I took a pic of the baggie with the screws. Seems I was missing three of the original nine.

All of the screws I removed were the same. They have the look of self-tapping screws. The missing ones were on the passenger side near the end.

I'm guessing I just never looked at that gauge during warm-up before. It does come up to normal operating temperature eventually, so I think my concern was misplaced. However, my air dam was missing two screws by the time I got around to removing it. It had no damage ... yet.

Yes, I have heard the same thing from a master mechanic and diagnostician. He swears by every 3K miles! 10K is just asking for trouble. I will change it every 5K.

I've used 4Hi a half dozen times and heard the clunk twice.

TRD Sport gives me between 22 and 25 mpg avg. Combination city/highway and some dirt roads but nothing that requires 4x4. I usually use Normal mode unless I'm on the highway then I use Eco. If I'm on dirt roads or in certain areas of town, I'll use Sport mode.
