I traded in a 2014 Jeep Cherokee latitude with the towing package and quadra tec 2 awd system. 136k on it. For a small suv with falken wild peaks on it, I got into and out of a lot of places I hd no right to. First toyota product. But I had a 1982 Izusu Trooper with the manual transmission and loved it. I love my 4R so far.

Definitely not a 2.0 lol. Wouldn't be able to afford to have both and do what I want with both. I would have kept it if I was able to find an older gen 4Runner but the prices for even 3rd and 4th gens were too much that I figured might as well get the new one. Plus trading it in paid a big chunk of the 4Runner. Eventually I will have to find a replacement but most likely will be a 90s car to fix up

I came from a 2023 Ford Expedition. It started out needing a tow vehicle for my SxS. While it's fast for a huge SUV and great at towing, it's just too big for many of the trails where I'd rather be in a car than a SxS. I got the 4Runner because I wanted a capable mid-size body on frame SUV. I've already taken it on trails where I wouldn't even think of trying to go down with the Expedition.

I came to my 4Runner from a 17 Tacoma. But as someone who likes to be prepared, one vehicle wasn't enough. I love my Taco, so it only seemed fitting to get the SUV version. And I missed my last SUV, a 91 S-10 Blazer.
