So just some context. I considered going to Flynn's Tire for the tire dismount and remount onto the new wheels. Except, they tend to use 4 different jacks and lift the car and do their thing, which I'm not a big fan of. The cost would have been very similar and like most of us, we assume the dealer will do a better job, thus my trip the dealer.Doesn't sound like that Toyota dealership is any good. First, they caused damage to your vehicle from negligence. Then, they tried to weasel out of fixing everything that was damaged. They would have completely lost my trust. Do you have other choices for Toyota dealerships nearby? If so, I suggest to you, after the dealership fixes what they broke, that you take your future business to another Toyota dealership.
Typically I do all the regular maintenance on my vehicles, except I don't have the equipment to mount the tires. Going forward, I will not be going to this dealer for any work.
