Wave Maker TRD Pro Pricing?

I’m looking to purchase a wave maker TRD Pro. I’ve found a few dealers willing to do MSRP, but none willing to go under, is that representative of the market right now?

In my opinion if you are able to get any TRD Pro at MSRP, you should jump on it. Doubtful you will get under MSRP on a Pro, and there are still plenty of people paying over MSRP for Pros.

Or potentially selling them for a bit more than they paid for them a year and a half ago...

Thank you, yes I have, seeing most dealers listing for MSRP, so that’s where I wonder if under MSRP deals are possible now especially with MSRP into the mid-high 70s

I'm in the market for a Wave Maker too and my research shows no one is selling below list. Hoping my local dealer will finally get an allocation for one.

I paid MSRP for mine and not a penny more. Well actually from the time I put down a deposit in Jan. until picking to up in June there was a $100 price increase that the dealer absorbed. So technically I got it $100 under MSRP.

The 2026's came out in late fall so I would expect the 2027's to start around the same time. October 2026 maybe?

better hurry, the wave maker color will be gone in 2027 replaced with that whatever color it is

forgot to add, if you wave maker is not built by the time they switch over, your trd pro will become that funky color.

so i would ensure you talk to your dealer that you want a wave maker and nothing else. otherwise once production switches to MY-27, they will roll your request over to the new special color.

There's lots of Pro's in the wave maker color but they don't seem to be being built. I'm not a fan of the color but that's just me. I gave up trying to see a Pro on a dealer's lot and gave my local dealer a deposit for an underground Pro. That was about a week ago. So far their fleet manager hasn't found any available. Best I can figure out is if it isn't built in the next few weeks it's too late to be a 2026. October seems to be the cut off date. If you really want one then get to your dealer and give them a deposit to get the ball going. If you wait too much longer you might be out of luck. BTW, my dealer said they only would start the locating process with a deposit.

My understanding is no new 4Runners are being made due to the earthquake in Japan. Unclear if this means the remaining in production will get pushed to 2027 and become Hot Honey or if Toyota will extend production of Wave Maker for the remaining allocated units

I know the plant is back up and running but I don't know how far along it is towards being at full production. I'm not sure if Toyota will say which models are being built. But even before the earthquake almost all the Pro's that said they were in production weren't actually being built.
