The +18 looks great! I went with a +15 on ours. Seems like +18 to +15 is just the right amount of poke

Looks great! Just curious, how much did your MPG drop when going to 285s? It looks like the KO3s are LT rating so 15-20lbs more per tire over stock? I have a Pro as well and am getting 19-20 mpg so far and don't want to drop below 18. I'm considering 285s for the future but the MPG hit is a consideration. Also, how is the ride? Noticeably firmer? Thanks.

I haven’t honestly paid attention bc I don’t care. lol. But my guess is I’m getting like 15mpg. From 17-18. If you don’t wanna go below 18 you don’t need the LT E load tires. I’m definitely getting less than 18.

Great looking setup @TrdProGirl84 !

How's the ride quality and steering feel with the upgraded tires?

Leaving it at stock height or adding a lift at some point?

Not sure this helps, but my son has a Tacoma TRD Off-Road I-Force Max. He put on Nitto Recon Grappler 295/70r18 in Standard Load which are 52 lbs. His MPG is steady at 19 MPG now.

Also, Nitto (probably other brands too) make a 275/70r18 in Standard load that are about 46 lbs. Those are Terra Grappler G3s.

I'm not trying to sell you on Nitto, just wanted to point out there are options out there they might better suit your needs.

My Westcott Designs Preload Collar Lift gets here on Monday and it’ll be going on as soon as the shop I use has an appointment! I’m happy with the ridge quality and steering. :)

I haven’t paid attention. Will let you know once the lift goes on. But I know it’s less than 18. I have E load tires. Mx guess is 15mpg.

I wouldn’t get 285. If I were you I’d try the 275 and get the C load Rating the tire will be slightly lighter and such. But I still don’t think you’ll keep 18mpg!

I have the 275/70/18 in Standard load Terra Grappler G3s, on my Limited. I absolutely love them, the ride is very smooth. Getting about 18 mpg combined, gas ver.

The problem is once you jump from 275 to 285 in an 18" it's impossible to find a tire that is not E or LT rated.

I have the Wescott Level kit installed which is also great, I noticed no change in the ride, but it looks so good.
