Yes. Those are powder coated. Toyota does not offer an all black version of those off-road wheels (17" or the 18")
Toyota does offer an all black 18" wheel for the 4runner than Tacoma, but it's not the same pattern.
OME 64 for if you're going to add weight.
Dirt King 2.0 if you want ride quality.
All dogs off-road spacer eraser for budget friendly.
Peak suspension 2.5" front and 2" rear spacers/preload collar.
The OME64 and dirt kings are height adjustable in the front so you can adjust rake.... Many...
@LostInStates I think the tire size looks fine. If you did ANYTHING, just add a 1" or 1.25" wheel spacer.
Widening the stance will make the tires look right for the height, IMO.
@LostInStates I really appreciate the feedback.
Exactly the information I was hoping for.
So, you got the 1.5" kit that does 1.5" in both the front and rear?
Edit:
Wait... I re-read. You did the 2" front and rear lift.
I just think that lift you did looks great!
I think "stiff" is referring to "body roll" and not making the suspension more stiff. The job of a sway bar is to force both sides to do the same thing, thus keeping the vehicle more upright.
Also, after typing all that out, I checked the website (sigh). And yes, it's referring to "body roll"...
That's amazing.
The difference with turbo engines is the heat the turbos generate.
Based on the story of your civic - God rest its soul - considering you were content to drive on fewer cylinders, tells me you likely didn't hotrod that thing, ever. Delicate driving prolongs everything, including...
Personally, 5k is "peace of mind" for me.
But that is solely based on assumption.
I am interested in the results of your next oil change. Again assuming, but I think the levels will improve... assumably.
This is not at all intended to be rude or sound critical of the OP, but on you tube there is a guy called "The Car Care Nut." He suggests that with turbos, we should change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles.
But 7500 is definitely smarter than the 10,000 interval suggested by Toyota.
If doing...
Super smart.
I agree. I'd hate to have to root-cause a mounted light fixture....not to mention doing all the wiring.
Now, the only thing you'll have to deal with is, "Where the he|| is the flash light??!?!?!"
