At some point I feel like it’s a better deal for people to just start with the TRD Pro!
Id disagree. For the money you save, you can source better suspension, wheels and tires (and pro headlights if go that route). If someones not knowledgable on those things, sure out of the box trailhunter or pro is better but if youre planning to modify it and will remove all those parts off anyway, why pay more from dealer

initially I was jonesing for amber drls on my SR5, but now I am getting real used
to the simplified look of the SR5 single projector with drl, low, high in one lens

I think it makes the front of the truck look tight w/o the extra lamp and
surround DRL (underground SR5 and I got black matte cover for the silver
toyota badge in the grille)

but if I had an extra 2 g to blow on lamps my first month, I'd have gotten
the trd pros. still might do it someday though 'cuz I do believe amber drls are superior
to white

Looks great. Would also love the TRD Pro interior door panels to replace all that hard plastic on my ORP.
I got this center console cover for my ORP off Amazon for $60 and it's a huge improvement. Only been a few months so I can't speak to how long it will hold up, but it's a perfect fit and so far still looks brand new. Worst case if it starts cracking after a few years, the real console will still be intact and I can just swap out a new one for $60. They also have door armrest covers in the same material -- they're listed as rear-door only but some of the images are clearly a front door, so I'm tempted to buy them as well to see if they fit. Can always return them if not but at the least I'd highly recommend that console cover as an upgrade for the ORP.

I agree. Protection and changes the look a bit.

Looks good much better than the stock lights.
Honestly, replacing the halogen parking light/turn signal bulb with a LED switchback would probably do wonders on its own, without needing to drop almost 2 grand on a whole new headlight assembly.

I installed some trailhunter headlights on my ORP this weekend. For anyone wondering about the dummy plug, i snapped some photos. Just have to remove the connector from the halogen bulb and snap it in place.
