TRD Pro Hatch Won’t Go Down

I wish this was the fix. The hatch went up prior. I fall for the window crack all the time trying to put up the hatch

After multiple threads for the same thing I think it's time to file this under "working as intended."

I hope you discover a work-around (e.g. tricking the vehicle into thinking you've closed the rear hatch by depressing a trigger somewhere, thereby reviving the electronics), because it seems like this issue really grinds your gears, but it seems you and others have basically exhausted the options.

The entire issue is solved by closing the hatch and not leaving it open all night.

I agree, subject has been covered many times but I got to say, Toyota and their rules for that back hatch operation consistently are frustrating...
