I put 34k miles on the stock tires for the trailhunter and they went bald pretty quick. Hopefully these nitto grapplers will be better.

They look good mounted. What size Nitto Grappler?

Also - what roof rack and accessories do you have on top?

Maybe grain of salt this. When I was searching tires for my Outback Wilderness, I landed on Falken Wildpeak AT3W, I watched a ton of tire review videos. Found a guy that put the Nitto Grapplers on his same model vehicle and ended up taking them off. After about 10,000 miles the rubber hardened and his ride suffered a lot. He said he did some research and found this was a common problem. This was about a year ago, so no clue if things changed, but something to keep an eye on as you age with them.

Hey! That's my TH! (The max trak are orange, that's the only difference, and I'm still on stock tires...Waiting to wear them out to put bigger ones) 34k already! That's a lot of road in little time...

Every new vehicle I’ve had seemed to wear through its tires in 30k!

I have a 4 gallon roto pax and 4 maxtrax toyota edition. I also have my mount for roam case! And I think my tires are the equivalent of 33s

That is because the tires on the Pro and TrailHunter are not full tread life. They’re only half. You’re lucky you for 34,000 out of them. Some folks have changed them at 20,000 miles.
