Nice looking rig, and the 703s are a nice touch. You planning on lifting or a collar lift?

Thanks. I already have the peak 1.25” level on the front. Gonna probably keep it this way

How does it drive. I have to imagine the on road ride suffered, but the off road will certainly improve.

TL;DR - Not much of a change at all honestly. Very happy with it.

The change wasn't as harsh as I had anticipated. I went from SL load at3 in 265/70r18 which is like a 32.6" tire at 39 lbs each. New setup is like 32.8" at 54lbs each. With wheel weight diff, it was about an additional 12-14 lbs per corner. So far I have seen MAYBE a .5 mpg drop on this first tank of gas. Acceleration was affected a bit, but not as much as I thought it would. They are a touch louder on highway, but again, not bad at all. I have a manhole cover in my neighborhood that I always hit in a 45 mph zone that is kind of my test for bumps on road, and this set of tires even with the stiffer sidewall feels like it takes the bump smoother. Likely from the taller sidewall with the 17" wheel vs the 18"s.

I truly think this is the sweet spot for this truck. Load C will handle any off-road I plan to do, ~33" is plenty big but not too heavy for daily use. No rubbing with the 1.25" level and probably wouldnt even stock.

I have this same size tire in Ko3 load C on my 5th gen and that truck drives like a dog. This 6G massively outperforms it on the same size and load range for on-road driving.

Your truck looks great! I went with Method 709 HD with 0 offset and 265 / 17 Falken AT4s on my TRD Sport Premium. I am getting rubbing on inner part of front flaps lock to lock. Maybe will consider a slight lift/level at some point.

No rubbing at all that I've noticed. I have the pro/trailhunter mud guards on mine.
Interesting, I didn't know there were different mudguards for the Pro and Trailhunter. I am going to look into it, I hate not having them.

They look the same but just wider to account for the wider flares and stance on the pro/TH
