Are the OEM ones flexible like the Land Cruiser first editions or are they stiff and will just cause more harm than good for most off-roading with rocks?

They seem to be stiff but they crush and pop back into shape. I had mine all bent up going over obstacles but it popped right back. Bottoms are all scuffed but they seem to work OK.

Good insight. Appreciate feedback from real world use. Thanks!

So I bought the OEM mudflaps as a temporary solution to help stop debris throwing, but instantly found that in my area the OEM ones aren't wide enough for the PRO and TH. I had to order the wide versions from a dealer in Texas. Colorado dealer told me certain parts aren't available at all dealers country wide. Here is a photo of standard ones on PRO.

I have the OEM mudlfaps on my trailhunter, they're flexible enough that they don't get destroyed going over rocks, but stiff enough that they sound like something is getting destroyed

Do you have the part number for the wider ones?

But only dealers in southeast can sell them I guess.

The Toyota dealership in Nashua said they has them in stock. They didn't have any 4runners though so other than following behind one in the middle of the night I still haven't seen one in person.

I have mudguards on mine. They were a PIO, I kept them and will leave them on until my tires are too big to rock them. Lol
