The only things I wanted from the higher trims was the heated steering wheel and at least single zone climate control. Couldn't justify paying another $5k+ just for those two things, though, so here we are.

Calling all SR5 owners.

What do you think of it?

Anything you wish you had that’s in the OR, ORP, or other trims?

Anything you don’t like about it?

How are the cloth seats? Are they as comfortable as the premium models?

Thanks for the input
I chose the SR5 because of occasional need of additional passengers, and i don't want to go to the limited trim, 4runner sr5 7 seater is the balance for me to have a off road vehicle and family hauler at the same time

Love my SR5. Would have gone with the TRD Sport, but I needed the 3rd row.

Only thing I wish is that the fenders were paint-matched (like 5th gen SR5) and an option to get the larger infotainment screen and maybe auto rear liftgate. Not deal breakers, and I love my SR5.

If they ever made a TRD Sport with a 3rd row, I'd be all over it.

I'm coming from a 2021 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 SR5 to a 25 4runner SR5. While that is apples and oranges when comparing I am very happy with the 4Runner SR5. My only complaint is the loosey goosey rear spoiler, everything else is tight. As for option packages there isn't any. Our 25 Tacoma SR5 at least had two, JBL audio and parking sensors, Heated steering wheel and heated seats. We opted for the Parking sensors and JBL Audio, which does come with a subwoofer.

You can add the steering wheel.

I think Mama Yota needs to rethink it's sales process. Options need to classified into performance or comfort. Lockers, sdm etc. Should be available as performance features and jbl, Heated seats steering wheel etc comfort features dictated by trim. I think they would sell more options and trims that way.

I've only had mine two weeks, but in that time the one thing that has irritated me about the spartan feature set on the SR5 is the manual dimming rearview mirror. I'm fine with the manual climate control, the smaller screen, the manual liftgate, etc. But to have the same ancient rearview mirror functionality as my 2000 Land Cruiser bothers me for some reason. I do really like the new 4Runner overall.

the auto dimming rear view mirror can easily be replaced, our trucks are prewired
honestly i never liked auto dimming rear view mirror, ive always gotten blue tinted wide convex rearview mirror
i have no real complaints, but what would of been nice are powered hatch, heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, auto climate, bright interior lights, brighter cargo lights

same reason as another poster, i got the sr5 for the emergency 3rd row
15k more for the limited trim was not worth it to me, if i was spending that kind of money, i would of gotten the GX550

I replaced my stock mirror with a Homelink from Toyota. I had to have that, but I do miss auto dimming. My solution is going to have dark tint added to the rear window. I hope that helps.

As for heated seats in an SR5 they can be added.
