My 2 22R Toyota 4x4's , every 10k .260k miles and 190k. Both sold and were driven past that mileage. My 22RE was super high mileage before trading it in. Also 10k changes.. These new non billet Turbos cook oil and aren't the most rugged. My 25 SR5 gets the 5k treatment.
I had an Ironman 4x4 for many years on my 2011 Xterra, then my 23 Tacoma. I sold it with the add on room after I got my 25 4Runner. Excellent build quality, excellent company. I'd buy another
My list. Bulletmount Magsafe phone holder, OEM floor mats inc the storage (part of my sale negotiation), OEM trailhunter front skid, OEM flattened steps, rear seat dog platform
Check out as many dealerships as you can or want to. Most of their wiggle room will be from any trades you have. I shopped in MA and NH. Had some sales people working on getting my Business. It worked out for me personally
I do a bit of traveling to work my boy, so Variokennel is my best option due to his Size. If I'm bringing both the lab and Zen, she's in the backseat Kurgo seat thing tethered. I've seen way to many catapulting dogs.
SR5, coming from a 23 Tacoma. Having been in the Toyota ecosystem for many years, 79 4x4, 88 4x4, mid 90s 4x4 , 23 Tacoma, this is my favorite by far. Air dam fell off at 500 miles, brake squeal, glitchy Android Auto. Change the oil no more than 5000 mile intervals. Turbos cook the oil.
Don't need it. The I4 turbo is plenty for me. My wife couldn't wait to get rid of the Lexus TX 500. That hybrid system was a joke. Now her Turbo 6 cylinder Beemer is a whole different animal
My 23 Tacoma 4 cylinder was weak and underpowered.
I wanted to get back into a body on frame SUV. My wife had a Lexus TX, with the same Turbo 4 hybrid. Other than torque battery was a waste
