I have an SR5, and once a week my 4runner hesitate to start and i have to push the start/stop button for the 2nd time, at first i thought it because my key fob is in my pocket and interfering with the signal but for a week i press the start button with key fob on my hand and it still hesistate...
My only complaint is the engine noise(but not the turbo noises, i love it) i try to buy a oem hood insulation but it cost too much and i don't know if the aftermarket hood insulation in amazon makes any difference
My other vehicle is a 2014 rav4 LE, and this is my first 4runner sr5, for me, i feel like riding in a cloud compared to my rav4, a lot more power and the feeling of driving a solid vehicle, plus those turbo noises!! The only complain is my 2014 rav4 has a quieter engine than my 4runner
Its the parking brakes, and all the other noises when you turn the engine off are the cooling systems still on giving the turbo the final cool down, this was explained by the toyota technician in my dealership
Hello, anyone using the obd2 port to power the dashcam so i can have a parking mode, im kinda skeptical if it gonna cause a problem with my 6th gen, I'd been using it on my 2014 rav4 without any problems, 6th gen got a lot of tech and sensors that im concerned being disturbed by the obd2 cable...
Do i still need to undercoat the vehicle? I live in Vancouver and BC probably salt the road a few days a year and sometimes its not salt they put but sand, is the factory rust proofing enough for mild winters like BC?
Actually its already on the 2nd year of you compare it to the tacoma, 3rd year if you compare it to the grand highlander and 4+ years if you compare it to the Lexuses, im talking about the powertrain reliability, exterior and interior fit and finishes, i banked on the tahara plant Reputation...
