They look nice but don't serve much a purpose. The step area is very small. It fits the body contour nicely but looking back the electric fold down steps would probably be more useful as a step.

Those look really nice. Much nicer than the factory ones on the ORP.

On my 5th gen that was pretty much the first things to come off. The stock running boards would mud up the back of my calves on my pants every time I would get out.
If it was raining or muddy conditions. People at work would say what's all that crap on the back of your legs! So these that you have look very low profile and away from your pants. Nice

They do look nice and fit well. Just not practical as a step. But they do fill the void of no steps like my initial pics show. And the dealer I bought them from had them for $950 so it seemed worth while.

I had sliders on my Tacoma and had the same issue you do with your steps. The sliders stuck out so far.

Your SR5 looks really nice. How do you like the RC leveling kit? I bought one too but haven’t installed it yet. I have the same car as yours.

It looks super nice. How do you like the RC leveling kit? How’s the ride? I have the same models as yours. Bought one too but haven’t installed it yet.

@lesqo88 ride is pretty much unchanged since the spacer just sits on top of the strut. It does sit nice and level. I will be upgrading shocks when more options become available.

how come you didnt go 2” on the RC level kit , im about to install mine tmwr and im not sure if i should go 1.5 or 2

any suggestion

@PatJc 1.5" looks perfectly level to me. 2" might be a little nose high. I didn't take measurements but just looking at it as it sits now, I wouldn't want to go any higher unless I raised the rear as well.

Bumped up to 285/75R17 tires. Looks a lot better IMO. The the 285/70's looked small. I did swap these BFG's out for Toyo AT3's. The BFG's shook pretty bad despite the the road force being within spec. The Toyos are smooth.

Nice setup! We also just bought our Ice Cap 4runner last week and bought the RC 1.5" Spacer lift to put a bigger wheel/tire setup. Do you have a photo of the Toyo AT3 in the 285/75? Also did you have to do any mods to make them fit? Love the look of the machined look when we first saw Wescott Designs Ice Cap 4Rnr.

Nice! Seems like these 6G 4runner's can easily fit 35's with minimal mods to the wheel well. Thinking about 305/70/17 which should be the same diameter as yours but a 12" width.
