My 3 month ends a week. I'd like to subscribe to the Toyota - Sirius 33 months for $350 deal. Anyone do this after they bought their 4R? do I go through Sirius or Toyota? dealer or call Toyota? thanks

What Sirius channel deal is that price. $10 per month generally is a good deal. Sirius/XM is very/super frustrating because at the end of the yearly contract, in your case 33 months, they begin charging you full price (north of $35 per month) you have to call them (yes on the phone) to customer service in SE Asia somewhere and ask for their best price. They say x, you say that's too much, please cancel, they say y, you say that's still too much, please cancel, then on itteration 5 they finally give you a price of about $15 per month and you agree to 1 more year of contract. Then after another year it all repeats. I love the music channels but I hate the customer service they have.

I did get the 12 month at $5 offer in the mail but I hate dealing with whole cancel shenanigans to try and get a better deal again vice full price. With the 33 month deal I at least dont have to think about it for almost 3 years. Jakethewhippet - totally agree!

Cancelling is easy now. You can do it online. I set a reminder on my phone to do it and then always settle on $5. Last time I held out a few months and they offered $3 month, never expires. But they said they only off that to older cars… I’ve got a 2014 SR5

I didn't know they've changed their ways a bit for the better. That's good to see because I do love the service.

call and TELL them that you want it for $5.00 month because you can get Pandora for that amount, I use Pandora for Free, just has commercials. Try it first

Just an update. I called the local dealer (I didnt buy it there) and the salesman told me I need call Sirius. I called Toyota connected services first, they told me to call Sirius. So I call Sirius and the person has no idea what the plan is. After about 45 minutes of giving him my VIN, my radio ID, and him mentioning that he will escalate it up, he finally says that I need the dealership to submit the order and that they have given me another 3 months for free to give me time to do that. 🤷‍♂️

such a pain in the ass. I emailed the dealership and attached the Toyota - Sirius flyer I found online. What a PITA.

I know this is old but wanted to provide a data point. I did this dance with my last 2 Subarus and luckily they finally did it right this time with my Toyota.

3 years for $99 + tax and now I refuse to accept anything less.

When I initially scored this on my first Subaru I let the free trial expire and took every one of their calls until this offer was extended. They know they have it, but it can take time. I think I was without the service for a couple of months, which is fine. When I got a new Subaru they cancelled this service and wouldn't offer it on my new one at first so I said no thank you and went without it for maybe a month until someone finally called and I explained I was not going for anything other than this deal they finally caved.

Luckily with the Toyota, I transferred the service to the new radio and they just tacked it onto the free trial and it goes into effect in a few days. Just know folks, there is a decent price you can pay for this service.

lol that service is still alive??? granted it was over a decade ago since i tried it, so i have no idea anymore about it.

tried it, got rid of it when i realize the music channels repeat the same songs after about 1-2 hrs. also didnt help that going thru drive thru's in town the buildings would block the sat signal due to being so far north and the majority of drive thru's in town are built on the main road which is north/south and the food joints are east/west

plus you cant make a playlist unlike spotify etc. i mean my one playlist is 62 hrs long without repeating a single song.

plus if you have a family plan for $20 month, that will cover 6 people.

this doesnt work if you have restricted data plan though

I am surprised they are still in business. Unless it has changed the sound quality is horrific and with andoid auto/apple car play and streaming music like Spotify they seem to be totally useless.

I like it for a fallback option when I don't feel like picking anything else from Audible or YT Music. I tend to get lost in my head and the music is just background noise, so sometimes it is nice to just to have it kick on when the car starts and just forget about it. I really enjoy the Chill station and the various 90's ones. Sound quality with the JBL system is pretty good. For $2.75 a month it is an easy yes for me. I'd never pay more than that.

I got the $4 month for a year deal after mine expired. Since you can share it with the app and car play, the $4/m is a no-brainer. It's not worth any more to me, but I get value at that price. Anymore and I just use free Pandora and sports radio.
