We installed the Westcott leveling kit along with new wheels/tires and had an alignment done. The alignment shop (highly recommended and this is all they do) mentioned that they would reset the sensors as well. The alignment was done without issue.

However, once they went to reset the steering angle sensor, things went south and about 8 safety sensors popped up and they couldn't get the issue resolved.
-TPMS
-Secondary collision
-VSC
-Brake system
-Advanced Ultrasonic Detection
-ECM
-ABS
-Check engine light
-Drive-start control

Also, their code reader pulled up a code C1345 which is for the linear solenoid valve offset. They ran through the offset learning process with no success in clearing the code.

Does anyone have any insight/resolution for this or know what the problem could be?
I have an appt at the dealership on Thursday and would like to be the best informed to make sure they don't try and pull a fast one on me.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes to see if that clears it? Does it let you clear the codes or does it always stay on? If you do bring it to a shop; I wouldn't suggest the dealer. Any independent shop can do this without paying twice as much at a dealer.

I had my Westcott Preload Collar lift installed professionally. No issues with the install. Hopefully you get it figured out.

sounds like they use a scan tool that doesn't have the correct
mapping to set up your model. or they didn't plug everything back in snugly

Undefeatable

I have no experience with it and hope its a easy fix, but just kinda funny how your post is both "highly recommend doing this service" followed immediately by "8 safety sensors popped up and they couldn't get the issue resolved".

Again not hating, just the way it reads 😅

They didn’t disconnect the battery but did say they put it on a charger for a bit as it was low voltage from trying for so long (~ 2 hours) to get the safety alerts/code cleared. The code was cleared but came back after they drove it for a bit.

I added that ‘highly recommended’ bit because I knew people were going to talk negatively about the shop. They have done alignments on lifted 6g 4R and this is the first time they’ve had an issue with the sensors. They tried for 2 hours to get the issue resolved with no luck.

I also found it a little unnerving that Toyota called me the day the truck was in the alignment shop to inform me about my TPMS sensor alert. They never called when the other alerts popped up. Yesterday, when I looked in my Toyota App, all those alerts were no longer there even though they were still showing on the vehicle. Big brother is watching, I’m afraid.

that’s what I’m thinking, but they told me they have done alignments on lifted 6g 4runners (when we were calling places to get quotes, we confirmed several times that they have done alignments on the new generation 4Runner because I was concerned about the sensor issue after reading that some people were having issues with this) and this is the first time they’ve had any issue. They tried for two hours to get the sensors working with no luck.
