Hey everyone! New to this forum and a new SR5. I plan to level it with a 2.5” x 1” kit and 33” tire, but not sure if I have to wait until 60,001 miles. Does anyone know what Toyota allows and what they say “voids the factory warranty “?

I assume this may vary based on your dealer and service department, but as I understand it usually there has to be proof that the modification led to a failure of a part. I highly doubt a leveling kit would void out the warranty. I also don’t think you’ll ever get something concrete in writing from Toyota.

My dealership complimented me on my lift and I see a lot of dealers lifting and swaping wheels before selling so.... generally speaking I think you'll be okay unless its the shock that fails. But those are cheap enough

Thanks for the advice and replies. I figured there's probably no hard answer and it's probably case-by-case. First time buying a new Toyota and don't have any experience with those dealerships.
