I'm reading it like OP wants an Icecap - that he has the opportunity to buy a Mudbath sight unseen and isn't sure he'll like it?
OP, if that's the case - Mudbath is a verrrrry desirable color. Seems like almost any dealer would be happy to hunt down an Icecap for you and swap them.
We picked ours up at the very end of July and can confirm it definitely wasn't an option. I'm actually eyeing an interior trim kit on Etsy that has this topo design, so I may have been interested...although on Heritage Blue I'm not sure how it would look.
Also looking for this grille and part number. We have an SR5 with the illuminated front badge, so the Heritage grille isn't an option - but still love the honeycomb look.
Stop and go is also one of the biggest mpg killers. At just shy of 2,000 miles, we get consistently 23.0 - that's mostly highway miles, as we live in the country and have a decent drive to kiddos' school and town. When I run errands in town, it always drops a few tenths of a gallon.
Love it! We have the exact same 4runner, and I've been curious how tan seat covers would look with the interior being almost entirely black. I think you sold me on it!
Just clarifying - does this mean after 10mins, the vehicle will shut off? I also haven't been able to find an answer as to whether or not it shuts off when you open the door to drive. (We don't have ours yet - any day!).
I'll BE in Denver on the 24th and 28th with some free time coming to/from Wyoming, but I'm flying...probably not a fit, but figured I'd throw it out there!
Looks good! We have it as an option on our incoming Heritage Blue. I'd like to put the matte black overlay on the emblem - would that mess with the illumination?
Stoked for you! Got word today ours has been sitting at KC railyard (3hrs from us) since the 10th, just waiting to get on a truck. Could be any day now! Enjoy yours, beautiful ride!
We're in a similar situation - ours sat at port (Portland) from early May until 6/28, dealer notified us 6/30 it was railbound and that it should be relatively quick (she said she anticipated it being ON the lot by this past Monday), and here we are 2.5 weeks later with no new updates.
Really depends on so many factors. What port it will come into, where your dealer is located, whether it will have any sort of hold for QC or PIO. Ours was part of the massive QC hold placed in May, went under hold 5/15 (built just a few days before that), released 6/28 and notified 6/30 it was...
Identical to Tallgeese, the spreadsheet has been accurate for us and aligned exactly with what the dealership tells us and updates on the site. We had no movement during QC hold, and blank fields for the ETA, but last week the same day our dealer told us it was on the train, the dates populated.
We have been in the same holding pattern with similar dates as you - and got an update early this week that our 4runner is finally railbound to the shipping yard (we're in MO, so our closest is KC). Ours sat in Portland since 5/14, went under QC hold 5/15 and was released Monday 6/30, with an...
