Running board options

Does anyone make a bracket to lower the stock running boards about 3 inches?
The stock location is a little too tall for my wife.

Wait sliders that mount to the same spot as the running boards? Don't the running boards mout to the body and the slider should mount to the frame. Unless you are replacing the trailhunter sliders then yes it would be same.

The running boards attach to the body, the Westcott sliders attach to the frame.

wouldnt work since the movement of the boards is dependent on travel distance of the automatic boards from toyota.

if you extended the reach, then they wouldnt sit flush with the body anymore when retracted

and i am pretty sure the oem boards are not adjustable for reach and retraction adjustments.

your best bet would be aftermarket, but i am not sure they are adjustable for reach/retraction

I have the fixed running boards not the retractable ones. Sorry if I am not using the correct terminology.
