Good to know. What's your dog that's going to be taking trips in it?

Any more pics of it inside? How large is your dog?
I’ll gather some more op didn’t post this one. Sorry for the lack of wider detailed shots, I was in a hurry when I first loaded it up.

Nothing crazy she’s just a 40 lb Malinois/gsd mix

Anyone have ideas on how to secure / tie these dog crate kennels down?

Our two goldens - see my profile. Rumble and Ranger. Both are standard male size and upper 60's in weight. Normally they would go one at a time for therapy visits.

Length works - it's the height that is a problem in a Hybrid 4Runner.

Had the one below and the the width of 42 inches fit as did the 27 inch depth. The problem was the height - the front of the crate extended beyond the top of the hatch so it wouldn't close. And the large size won't fit the boys

Nice looking crate, although I generally prefer wire ones when practical (better ventilation). Not as protective as the plastic ones though (that is, if hit or jostled hard they may not stay together as well). That said, although not ideal I generally do not use crates. First, I have very large dogs (most are about 120# or so, one is a 190# Leonberger). I almost always have the back seat down, but it is still pretty contained back there. Mine do not try to get in the front (basic training, don't need a physical barrier).

@TRD_GUY Of course, but any decent solution seemed impractical. Seat belt type attachments do not seem to work, and I question that they would help or possible be worse than untethered. Crates are better, but space makes often makes that impractical or impossible.

Well, the front seats are in the way for them to make it to the windshield, But, I get your point and agree. I do worry about it, just don't find any of the solutions all that practical.
