Length works - it's the height that is a problem in a Hybrid 4Runner. Had the one below and the the width of 42 inches fit as did the 27 inch depth. The problem was the height - the front of the crate extended beyond the top of the hatch so it wouldn't close. And the large size won't fit the boys

Our two goldens - see my profile. Rumble and Ranger. Both are standard male size and upper 60's in weight. Normally they would go one at a time for therapy visits.

Not sure if this fits here or not, but I am trying to find a reasonably priced dog crate that will fit one or two of my Golden Retriever Therapy Dogs in the cargo area of our new vehicle when all four seats are up and in use. The slant back of the second row is tricky. Thanks for any ideas.
