They told me I was in 4wheel drive lol. Which I 100% not in. They decided that there was nothing wrong with it but also told me that there is a error code. So im going with They have no clue. Also these new hybrid 4runner are just giant computers and computers have glitches some times.

We have traveled so much with this 4runner and I only had this one issue so far so its not that bad!

Thanks for the update, regardless of how clueless they probably were....
Same here, so fat it's been a solid machine! Almost 17K and a few long trips too.

I suspect after reading here since it has happened to both Hybrid and gas, it could be a transmission hiccup on a downshift that trigger the ecu to cut power to fail safe any further damage to trany... Curious if Tacoma treads show same issue.

I had the same thought since I have the OTT tune as well.

I took it to the dealer and they said it was in 4wheel drive which. I responded with if it was in 4wheel drive how did I drive 65 70. Also there was no indication on my end saying it was in 4wd as the picture shown.
