No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

Hi all,

TRD Sport Premium. There is NO bass coming out of the rear subwoofer & NO bass coming from the rear door speakers. I've checked all audio settings & all is as its supposed to be. Anyone out there having this problem & have any easy suggestions of how to fix it?

Having the same issue. Following!

My ORP w/JBL has very little discernible bass from anywhere other than the front door speakers.

I should check. I may be having this issue LOL

Definitely not the case in my ORP, the sub and doors are putting out good low end here.

I'm really hoping this is not a hardware issue & can be corrected with a software update or something. As of now there doesn't seem to be any software updates available or needed according to my infotainment console or in the Toyota app. It really sucks paying extra for a "premium" sound system that isn't performing as such.

I have it in the TRD Pro. JBL sounds okay, I can't say that I'm impressed with subwoofer performance. I've also wondered if it's actually there.

My subwoofer isn't working either . Dealership ordered new amp that goes under he drivers seat .

Do your rear doors have any bass playing?

Did the dealership do any software updates?

What did they do to troubleshoot your problem?

Rear doors work fine.
Don't know what they did to diagnose the problem .

I did a quick check at lunch today. When I put the fader on fully to the rear, it's very quiet, but there's sound. The sub appears to be making noise, but it's really faint. That was with some cranked Post Malone.

I'll do more testing when I have more time...But...Considering there's a dedicated sub and it sounds that bad...Yeesh.
