It’s called Merus Adventure Park, in Palo Duro Canyon (not the State Park) about an hour from Amarillo. The class was two days, 11 hours the first and 8 hours the second. It includes classroom and wheel time in your own vehicle, as well as live instruction on recovery. It gave me a lot of extra confidence for a solo trip cross-country.

Thanks for sharing! I was looking for classes in TX and did not come across Merus in my searches. I thought I might need to drive to NM/CO/UT to do something like this.

These are great shots and jealous. I have training lined up in PA and NY this spring and plan on heading down to Overland Expo in VA in Oct. Playing around with driving out to Rocky Mountain Toyota Roundup next year in Ouray.
