Which video did you watch? Planning on doing mine this weekend.Had a chance to install mine this past weekend. The difference is literally night and day. It's a darn shame that the amount of money we pay for these 4Runners that the OEM lights are such a joke being so dark.
Couple things noted:
-Removal of the overhead console is easy if you use the pry tool and approach it from the front of the vehicle. The 2 push-in style clips are at the front of the console. Do not try to remove the console from the rear-side as there are plastic hinge clips that are not meant for removal.
-Removing the 10 bezel clips were kind of a pain at first. I recommend using a flat head screwdriver as mentioned in the video, but also at the same time, sticking a pry tool under the bezel while pushing the clips with the flat head screwdriver.
-Didn't disconnect the battery and had no issues. I did make sure to have the light switch on the overhead console in the "off" position when reconnecting the wires.
While is is a pretty pricey upgrade, it is totally worth it. Especially if you have to access your vehicle in the dark every day like me (early work commuter).
