For anyone doing the grille swap, the 5/8” nylon locking hole plug works perfectly!

A small, but very useful mod. No elastic bands or sliding around when opening the center console and it looks a lot better than the stock plastic. I can’t speak to the long term durability yet, but very happy with the fit and appearance. https://a.co/d/5spbsL8

My My 4Runner came with black lettering too, but I accidentally messed up the letters with bug a tar remover. Goo Off will completely destroy the finish on the lettering, as well as the black plastic on the liftgate.

Does anyone make a true overlay for the “4Runner” letters on the liftgate? My 5th had adhesive black letter overlays/caps that installed over the letters. I ordered overlays from the dealer but they sent me “TOYOTA” lettering instead and didn’t know what I was talking about.

Well, I'm about to upgrade from the 245's to 285/70/17's. I ran the same tires on stock rims on my 5th gen without issue.
