Is the 2026 Limited (Non-Hybrid) safe to buy now, or should I wait for 2027?

Hey OP - Can confirm that my '25 Limited FT 4WD has been running perfectly ever since purchase. Already changed the oil twice as I heard towards 10K miles

My only "issues" have been
  1. A rattle on the passenger side when I play loud bass/music. It stops once someone sits there or you press down on the door just a touch. Plan on addressing next service at 10K miles
  2. Transmission can be a bit jerky when driving from cold start. If you let it warm up or put it into sports mode, it goes away. Not a huge deal at all, but something I noticed with these trucks
I wish the auto start/stop would remember every time I turn it off as I have to do it whenever I start her up. Same thing with my drive/comfort settings, but these things IMO could be resolved with a software update.

The limited is good. No complaints.
They were scarce mid 2025 when I bought mine so compromise was part of the deal. Bought it while in trasit.
Third row and power steps were not something I wanted.
I really would have passed on it if I had known how much space is lost in row two in order to shoe-horn in a useless third row.
I think 5 or 6 inches of leg room is gone. Never thought about that angle.
Also Row two has no adjustment forward or back it is fixed in place but maybe all are.
Power side steps work today but time will tell.

Hi OnePunchPan,

This video might help you or the dealer fix the rattle problem. I asked the tech that worked on the fix to shoot a video in case it might be helpful to others.

Hell yeah thank you!

This video is actually something I planned on referencing as I saw this awhile back!

I'm fairly certain the 2nd row legroom stays the same regardless of whether or not a 3rd row is present, but perhaps I'm misinformed!
