  1. Who's had their 6th gen for a year now? What do you love/hate?

Have you had any other issues with the increase trans temp overall?
  2. Vibration while sitting idle with AC turned on

Checking back in here today. Wife drove the car and said "i just noticed how much this car vibrates at idle" Turned off AC and the vibration was reduced quite a bit. Looks like this is definitely a thing
  3. Recommended areas for 3rd party gun safes?

Hey folks - Hoping for some guidance here. I'm looking to install a gun safe that can be placed in the drivers seat area. Obviously in a concealed region, but given that the Limited trim has power seats, I don't think under my seat is an option. For context, this would be used to store the...
  4. My 4k miles trip in my 2025 Platinum - experience & MPG stats

May I ask why you no longer drive after sundown?
  5. Drive Mode during Winter

I remember seeing your post from earlier in the year and thought "wow if this crazy guy can get up there, then I know the possibilities are endless" 😂 https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/deep-snow-%E2%80%93-just-had-to-try-on-bridgestone-blizzak-dm-v2-snow-winter-tires.9170/
  6. Drive Mode during Winter

Yup that's what i meant! Sry if there was any confusion but I was just trying to clarify between FT FWD and 4HI. I don't think i've come across any situation where I've needed 4lo yet
  7. Drive Mode during Winter

If it's like 4-8 inches of snow I'll keep it in FT 4WD and I've only ever used 4hi like twice. Running a stock limited gas only 4runner w/ FT4WD; experienced one of the harsher winters this past season with snowfall of about 1.5 feet I wanna say. My neighbor broke his ankle trying to shovel and...

Checked again today. Not as bad as I remembered it to be tbh lol but def still much more rattle and noise compared to my old VW
  9. Vibration while sitting idle with AC turned on

Curious if anyone with a 2026 model can speak to this
  10. Vibration while sitting idle with AC turned on

Yes. TBH this car has a lot more creaks and rattles than I care for, especially when the thing I'm comparing it to is a 2012 volkswagen GTI I don't expect them to have super nice options or build quality, but I do expect less noise from both the interior components + drivetrain when compared...
  11. 6th Gen LIMITED Daily/Overland Build: Method 705 +35 offset, KO3, Prinsu Pro, Diode Dynamics Lighting, CBI Skid

Love the build! Have the tires impacted your fuel economy much? Looking to do the same myself
  12. Silver SR5 (7 seater) Build- Bilstein 6112 / 6100, Westcott Designs rear pucks, Method 703 +35 offset, 285/75R17 BFG KO3

Lmao I know what this means, but it still sounds so funny when ya read it. Wish I could see how this feels. I thought the Limited trim's adjustable variable suspension would've given me a bit more plush on the roads when it comes to potholes, but alas it is a body on frame
  13. Impressions After One Week

100%. I'm fairly young at 31 and it even took me time to get used to the interface/learn how to use all the toys at my disposal
  14. Switching from Jeep - what lift / parts to get?

Following for this functional build details
  15. Black 2026 4Runner Limited Build

Dude. Looks friggin SICK. Did you have to remove the adjustable variable suspension?
  16. Truth or BS? Dealership info on removing air dam

I removed the dam on my Limited trim and have had no issues with the fender well liners. You should ask the tech to show you which screw/bolt connects the fender liner along with the air dam. That way you can "try to look up a solution yourself" at home. Would be great to see what kinda BS he...
  17. Tail of the Dragon Run in TRD ORP - 9 April 2026

Interesting. TIL. Thank you for that tidbit!
  18. Tail of the Dragon Run in TRD ORP - 9 April 2026

Dumb question, but what else is it for?
  19. Bridgestone Ascent AT 275x60/R20 tires on my Limited! - my review

And for this one you wouldn't have to remove the AVS right? Curious since I'm looking for a solution that keeps the AVS in place. Always curious about the post-change driving dynamics as well
