  3. Drive Mode and Auto-Start/Stop - How to configure?

Hey Folks, Out of curiosity has anyone managed to configure their 4runner so that the drive mode remains in sport, sport+ or custom? For the life of me I cannot figure out why Toyota would allow for the driver to keep the drive mode in either "Eco" or "Comfort", be able to turn off the car...

  8. Help! 5th or 6th Gen?????

Hey man - Always fun to be researching cars and I personally think this research portion is the most exciting phase. That said, below are my 2 cents: 1. Price - I debated between buying a potentially used 5th gen due to the long term reliability argument, but I leaned into the 6th gen more...
  9. Is the 2026 Limited (Non-Hybrid) safe to buy now, or should I wait for 2027?

  11. Is the 2026 Limited (Non-Hybrid) safe to buy now, or should I wait for 2027?

Hey OP - Can confirm that my '25 Limited FT 4WD has been running perfectly ever since purchase. Already changed the oil twice as I heard towards 10K miles My only "issues" have been A rattle on the passenger side when I play loud bass/music. It stops once someone sits there or you press down...

  13. Matte Clear PPF and Heat Shield Install on a Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood

Hey OP - Looks great! Couple of questions: 1. I see hood pins as a requirement on their site, but don't see it on your pics. Are they installed or are they just not necessary? 2. Have you noticed any fluttering with the CF hood? Would love to switch over, but wasn't sure if it behaves in a...

  16. Which Drive Mode are you all using for daily driving?

Right now it's about 39-55F in my area, but I've also experienced this in the summer mornings as well. So it's not directly related to cold temps per say, but just when the transmission itself is not warmed up yet.
  17. Which Drive Mode are you all using for daily driving?

I do the same on my Limited. Question for ya Does your 4runner shift a little weird when driving/starting up cold? I've noticed that the first few initial shifts early in the morning/while the trans is still cold can result in some ... rather awkward shifts Goes away right after tho
