I too fitted the Husky Lo-Pro hood protector. I was not a fan of these over the years but this one seems to work for the 4R. Not sure about its "deflecting' capability but it will protect the hood lip. I have XPel PPF on the front and lights but the cost of adding to the hood was too much for me to accept so, I added the Husky. Seems to blend well with the front black plastic and the lower Airdam that I am keeping (unless it falls off).
