Front & Rear Bumpstops Upgrade (brackets from LC250 / GX550 are direct bolt-on)

Patrick at Perryparts plans to offer the bumpstops for sale with the towers and fasteners included I believe for 6th gens. This is probably why they will be more expensive when they release.

He registered to participate in the forum but I do not believe his account has been approved yet.

Do they ONLY plan to offer it with the towers included? I would just buy the V2s standalone because I already ordered the towers/hardware from my dealership. They have yet to ship it, so I have time to cancel.

Also, do we have an ETA in January?

I reached out to Perry Parts a week or so ago about whether they will offer v3 standalone for those of us who ordered the bump mounts and to confirm I need standard length for a Trailhunter. No response which is disappointing.

Last I emailed with him, he said that he wasn't going to stock the OE towers and use a disclaimer on his website that they need to be supplied independently. He's at King of the Hammers now. I wish the admins here would approve his account so that he can comment directly.

Correct. Last I talked to him though, his account was restricted such that he couldn't post until an admin approved. I believe the same occurred when I created my account. When Pat gets back from KOH I will ask him if he's able to make posts.

Saw a notice on their site about potential shipping delays first couple weeks of March. Wonder if anything to do with new product release. Hope so.

For 4Runners that do not have front bumpstops, it is possible to purchase front bumpstop brackets from an LC250 / GX550 at your local Toyota dealership and they are a direct bolt-on to the 6th gen 4Runner. We just test-fit some prototype v3 Perryparts bumpstops that should be releasing in January.
Partnumbers that are needed -
1x Driver side bumpstop bracket - 51604-60060
1x Passenger side bumpstop bracket - 51603-60060
6x Fastener - 91674-N1030

I've been impressed with your candidness about your products and all the great info you have provided to this forum. I'm now contemplating your "spacer eraser" springs and (at least the rear) bump stop that is the subject of this thread. (Would get AB15R Rear Bump Stops I think?)

Here is why: I've got 285/75R18 Toyo A/T III ("35s") on my TRD ORP. Stock suspension except for 1.25" (5/8") Peak leveling spacer and crash plate removed. Wheels are TRD Flat Black option wheels (18x8" +45 offset). I had ordered 285/70 (33.7") but shop erred and put on 285/75 (34.8"). Did not realize until months later (D'oH). Rubbed (front air dam tabs; rear fender flares) at articulation on the +20 offset TRD PRO wheels but with the +45 wheels the only contact is on the top of the rear fender wells when under extreme upward articulation pushing steep uphill over rocky terrain.
SO, am thinking I may need a rear bump stop to keep that contact from happening BUT I don't want to loose too much articulation up and down. Am contemplating whether the only solution is extended length coil overs plus bump stop.
But my question for you: would it make sense to go with your spacer erasers (front and back) and a rear bump stop to address my challenge? (If you say yes, I'll be researching how to DIY the install - mostly for the challenge of doing so)
BTW - putting this question here because it seems somewhat relevant and I suspect that others might be helped by the answer - which would not occur if I reached directly.

An extended bumpstop may help, or a bump stop extension. It's hard to say without knowing how much you are rubbing in rear and how much you need to limit uptravel to prevent the rub.

A lift coil in the rear can help reduce the chances of rubbing at full compression by being firmer in rate vs a factory coil, but at full compression you would still rub.

2025 4Runner ORP 295 70R 18 KO3 (34.4”) with Rough Country 3.5” lift kit

Uses stock front shocks but new UCAs, strut spacers, preload spacers.

I purchased the Toyota OEM bump stop mounts for the land cruiser. Now I need to determine which of the Perry Parts Bump Stops to order. Regular, extended, long travel?

Perry Parts Bump Stops 6th Gen (2025+): 16.3"

• Regular Length: 16.3" - 16.7"
• Extended Travel: 16.8"-17.2"
• Long Travel: more than 17.2"

Any suggestions anyone??? I have a 2 week overlanding trip next month so am hoping to get them installed prior.
