Loving my 6th gen , and have to be honest, if you asked one month in, I may have answered differently. She is 7 months, 10500 miles old and feel like it was a perfect choice.

Now I am trying to decide if there are any mods I should be looking into. She is a daily driver and only some off road. I share 'custody' of a corgi and already have PPF w ceramic.

Any thoughts , suggestions, questions are Welcome :)

Since mostly a daily driver... Window tint, dash cam, Lasfit set of floor mats/cargo mat/seat back mats. Figure out if you want different tires for when these are ready for replacement.

Yes all of the above! Crazy how much $$$ it all adds up too,

Purchased all the interior protection including all the cup inserts, overlays to prevent scratches, etc...

Exterior front PPF, door cup PPF, fog light PPF, tinted windshield and front windows.

Exterior aesthetics like raptor lights and oem black chrome exhaust tip. Also upgraded to Toyota Premium horns and added the diode dynamics hitch reverse and brake light for added safety.

A lot of other little things, like a FitCamX dash cam.

Looking into the Sherpa Capitol Roof Rack.
probably will be my biggest mod once I decide to let go of the black roof rails and crossbars.

After all the money spent on accessories, my Runner is still looking oem and stock, just the way I like it.

Happy modding!

Look into the Canvasback seat covers since you have a dog that sheds.

Ditch lights were my first mod; like the look and they really help when more light is needed. Puddle lights were a super easy add-on, as was the hitch light reverse with brake strobe.

start small projects first. simple ones that run a few hours to less than a day.

that way you can get a feel how things are to tackle harder projects like armor and what not

I would say to get some bin style beds if you don't already. My corgs appreciate the hell out of them, esp if we are anywhere offroad, since they're cuddled in

These are the mods I've done or about to do:
  1. Swapped my turn signals to Lasfit amber LEDs
  2. Getting my windows tinted
  3. Install my Canvasback bench seat cover whenever that comes in (kids are messy)
  4. Install the "Toyota" inserts whenever those come in
  5. Install my dash cam but still need to purchase the Dongar adapter first
  6. I plan on getting a set of new wheels and moving on up to either 295/70/17 or 285/75/17 tires. I am still doing research on tire sizes, but I would prefer not to lift this time around. (I had King 2.5s within my 3rd gen Tacoma and told myself this will be a pavement princess so not going that route)

Hi. Did you have to lift at all for these tire changes?
