I recently took delivery of my 2025 Off-Road Premium non-hybrid and the truck had Michelin AT tires instead of the Falken Wildpeak ATs I've been seeing most ORPs on. The dealer said that was what they received from the port and were not able to answer if it was supposed to have arrived on Falkens.

As far as I can tell, the hybrid usually comes on the Michelins but the gas model does not. I talked to Toyota Corporate and they were not able to advise on what brand of tires the truck was supposed to arrive with.

Has anyone else recieved an ORP (non-hybrid) with Michelins instead of the Falkens?

they will install either at the factory. they dont exclusively install 1 manufacturer. as long as the tire meets the recommended specs they will use whatever brand.

edit : personally i dont keep a factory installed tire long term anyway for ND winters. they never meet the requirements. they meet toyota's requirements though.

right now i am looking to replace the factory grandtreks that came with the platinum with defender ltx ms2 anyway.

and i am looking to put some on the 23 tundra. the duratrac's RT have gone to crap for winters here and they only have 17k miles on them and they are already getting loud.

Oh man they boned you with GrandTreks ? that's gotta sting.

A chub of bologna has more traction than those things.

LTX MS2's replaced my barely driven Yokohamas recently

i wasnt surprised really. my 2014 came with grandtrek at20, and they royally sucked for wintertime in ND, i replaced them as soon as i could. dont even remember if they even made it 1 winter on the 4R.

the new 6G 4R has the new replacement grandtrek pt20 i think is what it is now the successor to the at20.

this new grandtrek is just as horrible as the original at20.

tirerack score is like a 2 or 3 out of 10

My TRD ORP iForce Max delivered has the TRD black 18" wheels option and came with the Michelin AT tires (265/70R18)

I recently replaced my 8000mile Fallen AT3’s with Cooper Road and trail’s. What a difference!! Love the drive, handling and look. Much better tire

Took delivery of my ORP Hybrid last month. Came with Nitto Ridge Grapplers (265/70R18) and not Michelin or Falkens. Seems to be quite a variation. These Nitto's have a nice ride and I like them better than the Michelin ATs that were on my '14 SR5.
