Had the silver valence on my Everest TrailHunter wrapped black along with full high impact PPF. Not sure why Toyota made the valence silver only on TrailHunters, but I think wrapping it black ties in the matte fenders & trim.

Wheels/tires specs:
Bronze Volk Racing TE37sb 18x8.5 +22 offset
Falken Wildpeak AT4W (285/70/18)

Looks WAY better for sure, I HATED the silver on our '23 TRDORP as well and changed it out to black. I agree though why the silver makes zero sense on the higher trims.

that looks great!. I'm wondering, when wrapped did the valance have to be removed for full coverage or was it done on the vehicle? I purchased a valance for a TRD Pro that was already black and I'm planning to install that once the weather cools off. I probably will wrap the back bumper however. Eventually a winch bumper will go up front, just waiting for just the right one.

Thanks! They did not have to remove the valence, still managed to get full coverage keeping it on. I know the wrap didn’t want to stick to the valence so it took a lot of heat and patience. So far it’s holding up great. I would like to do a steel bumper as well but this is a temporary cover-up for the silver trim lol

I agree, I have the underground color and that silver just doesn't work for me. I'll eventually also get rid of the bronze Wheels and go all black. Thanks for the info, great looking rig got there.

Looks great! Where did you get the vinyl overlays for the back? I see some on Stickerfab but didn't know if the color to order would be gold or metallic bronze to best match the front.

I got them from Sparksparts.com which I believe is an OEM Toyota parts source. Took me forever to figure out where to find the overlays. Part number

Amazing how changing the color of trim on the Everest color seems to change the color of the vehicle. I changed the wheels on our ORP Max and the vehicle looks completely different. The silver lipped wheels look horrible, especially on an Everest colored vehicle. Makes the paint look darker to me. Completely changes the appearance imo.

Lots of companies do the silver with the silver valance. I don’t get it.
