Engine almost stalls

Has anyone experienced the engine almost stalling? Has happened twice where I’ll be driving slowly under 20km/hr and let off the throttle to coast and the rpm’s drop below 500rpm and engine stalls but not completely and picks back up. The car buckles slightly because of the drop in rpm so it’s very noticeable. AC is not on, as it’s set to 22C interior temp and outside temp is below 0.

I've noticed it a few times over 12K but I put it down to being a hybrid, it happens so fast that by the time you look down it's over. Almost like a slight stutter.

Limited is available in hybrid in the USA; they probably aren't familiar with the trim availability minutiae between US/CAN

Your powertrian should learn. If your vehicle is new I'd recommend that you don't try to keep it from stalling since that might interfere with learning. Typically, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery will reset the engine computer.

If it was mine I would contact the dealer, get it in and see what they can find.
Last thing I would do is mess with the power to the car.
You could inadvertently cause problem number two and add another variable in the problem.

I haven’t tried anything yet to keep it from stalling. It’s still new only 1000km on the clock. I’ll keep monitoring it and see if it happens again.

Potential bad gas with too much ethanol! Drop a bottle of tectron fuel cleaner. Run it down the highway for a bit.
