Front & Rear Bumpstops Upgrade (brackets from LC250 / GX550 are direct bolt-on)

Hey guys!

For 4Runners that do not have front bumpstops, it is possible to purchase front bumpstop brackets from an LC250 / GX550 at your local Toyota dealership and they are a direct bolt-on to the 6th gen 4Runner. We just test-fit some prototype v3 Perryparts bumpstops that should be releasing in January.

Partnumbers that are needed -

1x Driver side bumpstop bracket - 51604-60060
1x Passenger side bumpstop bracket - 51603-60060
6x Fastener - 91674-N1030

Take 30 seconds and read the post, you will all the part numbers. But no, these will not work with every trim. The fox shocks on the TRD pro interfere with the mounts.

no 4Runner has them oddly. Toyota had some head scratching design choices between the LC/4R/Tacoma

Thanks for confirming the 4runner has the same mounting points as the LC250, I asked this in another thread and didn't get any help.

Anyway I made my own brackets to clear the oem fox shocks..

It's strange how Toyota decided to put the main bumps on the LC250/GX550, but not the 4runner.

You won't benefit anything daily driving, but they will add protection from shock and frame damage. If you add aftermarket bump stops that attatch to the bump brackets you will add comfort when bottoming out.
