Just picked up the D-switch from Diode Dynamics. I've seen there are mounts for Aux Beam and Cali Raised that make the switch panel look a little more seamless. Has anyone found a company that is making one for the D-switch?

Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions has D-Switch specific mounts and a 4Runner specific molle panel that mounts behind the infotainment screen.

DD may be working on an integrated solution like the one you posted but I'm not 100% sure.

I wanted to go with the D Switch to give it a try. I like some of the features but my measuring said the switch panel wouldn't fit in that spot very well or look very good if shoe horned in there. Not sure why they had to make the actual panel so large. I went with the SPOD BantamX in their mount and it looks factory. Everyone who looks inside asks what it is and if it was factory. That makes me happy.

Yeah, the features got me. Went with a full diode dynamics light setup so it was an easy choice. I’ve been holding off on the install while waiting for my prinsu rack to ship hoping someone would drop a mount like the others. I’ll post the install once completed.

Installed the D-Switch this week. Ended up mounting it on top of the fuse box next to the to the battery. The hardest part was getting the controller wire thru the firewall.

Removed a lot of the trim in the drivers side floor to make it easier to get to the pass thru on the firewall.

Find where the wire harness passes thru the firewall and pull back the sound deadening around it.

Other side in the engine bay. I've seen a lot of videos of people pulling the side back and fishing it thru that way. Don't be lazy, find something pointy and push it thru be careful not to hit the wire harness.

Pro tip, un-bolt the horn to give yourself some more working space.

Attached some rubber wire hider from amazon to the back of this plastic to clean it up.

Opted to flush mount it under the drivers side vent and not use the mount that came with it.

You can use the mount to trace out where you want it on a piece of tape before drilling holes.

Cleaned up the wire behind the dash and buttoned everything back up.


Still need to tie in the Ignition sense and dimmer sense wires to that harness but haven't gotten around to it yet.

If you know a good spot for those let me know before i have to go digging too much.
