Crossbar choices for factory rails??

Yes that's the same one that @RandomSquirrel linked in the post before mine lol. I was just responding to them. It does look nice. Looks easier to install than the Rago one that uses the oem rails.

Oh got it! Definitely easier to install than the Rago.

Better if I just share this link than try to explain. It's a lot of work!

Yeah, the whole "drill holes in your rails" is why I passed on the Rago rack. Had they adjusted the engineering to use the current holes in the rails, and simply install rivnuts in the factory holes, that may be doable. But I'd prefer either a full rack replacement, or bars like they have now that "strap/bolt" on with not modifications to the rails.

Yep. Same. Unfortunately mine came with the oem rails and cross bars. I might go with the Victory for now to at least make use of the oem rails.

Maybe in the future, when I have more use for a full aftermarket roof rack, I have my eye on the Sherpa Capitol. This would be my go to full replacement rack.

For my needs, a full rack would be useless, but a 3/4 rack (or even cross bars) would work more for me. I haven't done heavy off-roading/overlanding in years, and use mine as a DD and occasional "carry kayaks to the river", "glamping", or playing in the snow (if/when it snows). Heh, it's more of a chariot for my chocolate lab than off-road tool. lol

I almost went with the new Victory option, but after I did the math of the size of stuff we want to put up there so that the 2 dogs have the whole cargo area for trips, I went with the Backwoods Driftr rack. Supposed to be delivered Monday

Theres another company that makes something similar, LFD.
Not as sleek looking, but definitely looks way more durable.
