New to the community and learning every day about these great machines.
Recently picked up a 2025 Platinum in red which is of course - the trim and color I didn’t know I wanted until I saw it.

Current wheels and gaps are driving me a bit crazy, so like many here I want to switch up my look.

Think the current 20s have to go. It’ll be a highway 4 season princess mostly, but we do get some snow up here in Canada on the weekends when we’re on our way to the kids’ sports tourneys

Think I’m set on Grappler G3, but can’t decide on 17 or 18 or even size for that matter. Want a more filled and aggressive look but still comfy for the family as a daily. Pics and suggestions and thoughts would be helpful for this newbie.

Pic for attention….

get rid of those grand trek pt5a as soon as you can. they are the worst tires ever. that tire has not improved in over 10 yrs on my 2014 4R limited came with grand trek at20's (predecessor to the pt5a)

i put 275/65 on my limited rims and like the result. I will put 17-18” rims on at some time in the future but I have other stuff I’m doing before new rims.

Those look really nice. I have the Platinum, and we do like the factory wheels. I just want a more aggressive, off road look. I see you still have the mud flaps installed. Any issues there? I don’t want to take mine off. I was leaning towards 275/60r20’s on the factory wheels. Still try to decide between KO3’s and Nitto Terra Grappler G3’s.

Nope no issues! The Cooper Road+Trail are highly rated on TireRack as well. $250/ea at Sam's Club.

Your ride looks great!
I used to think all blacked out looked good, but those Limited wheels really makes the 4R stand out.

I misspoke, I have 275/60 not 275/65 (33" not 34")! Sorry!
Any mods to accommodate the 275/60? My tire guy thinks that 275/60 on a stock suspension will required some sort of mod to make them fit.

Nope. I am putting a Westcott leveling lift in the future but no mods needed. The Trailhunter and Pro come with 33" stock (different offset). I haven't take it off-road or done any hard U-turns but its not rubbing anywhere on what I have driven. There are others here that have posted they had no problems putting 275/60 on their 20" rims.

Definitely know that drill! Just did PPF and ceramic coat with her lukewarm approval 😋 Now trying to convince myself that I shouldn’t pick up Trailrunner wheels to pair with the Heritage Blue…so far my heart is winning the battle 😬

How are 18x9 with +15 offset going to sit on my platinum?
My guess with a little research is that you’d be good at +15 or even +20 for flush fit with no poke outside of the fender flare. The Trailhunter wheels are +25, and with the slightly smaller fender flair on yours, the tire would poke.

+20, on the factory TH wheels, just for exactness sake. OP will for sure get a ton of poke at +15 with standard flares.

Ok, I was way off then. Wouldn’t think +15 would have a ton of poke but good to know for when I upgrade.
