If you are serious, take a look at the threads on this forum where folks upgraded to the premium Toyota horn. Easy 10 min upgrade with good sound.

I'm a newbie to Toyota. I left driving a Chevy Suburban with all of the Fab Fours full bumpers until I lost the transfer case and transmission in the same month.

I swapped in Hella trumpet horns. The "premium" Toyota horns seemed a bit pricey by comparison for what seems like a very similar tone (hard to gauge volume from YouTube videos).

If you want Toyota horn option that gives you the proper sound, below is what I used (also known as the Toyota 'premium' horn option) Plug-n-play with existing wiring harness and the entire process of removing old horns / installing new horns was 20 min max.

Last week I swapped out my stock '25 ORP beepers and installed the Toyota Premium Horn pair. Got them off of Amazon. They sound great. See several YouTube videos that pay before and after sounds. Super easy install.

Those are the horns I went with. It took as long to remove the plastic shroud from above the radiator as it did to install the horns. Both are insanely easy.
At least my ride doesn't sound like a base model Corolla.

I agree with Toyota premium horns recommendation. Much better and louder, super easy, and you know they’ll last.

Yeah I'm not sure why everyone is paying almost 3x more for the same thing.

I swapped with Hella's prewired to plug straight into Toyota harness.
