Brake squeal TSB completion?

26 4R the brakes havent squealed yet, but the 25 randomness has dropped to maybe once every 1-2 months but it hasnt done it lately since the weather has turned to fall.

and on the 25 it only happens when i back out of the garage at 5am, i can jam the brakes real quick and it will go away.

Took the 26 tundra in to get it done a week ago. Picked up tundra and dropped off 4runner for the same thing. Took them 2 days to get the 4runner to make the squeal. Now we wait 2-3 weeks for the parts. Worth it to me. Who doesnt want free brake replacement at 15k miles?

my 2014 i didnt have to replace the front axle pads and rotors until @96k (i think cant remember) and the rear axle was done at 106k. granted it was $500 per axle when i had it done.

$500 for new pads, rotors and labor i think was pretty cheap per axle at the toyota dealer

i was pretty happy the originals lasted that long.

I could have sworn that the TSB did not include new pads but then I re-looked at the T-SB-0006-26 and there on the parts list: "Pad Kit Disc Brake, Front". Perhaps the earlier TSB did not include the pads and they realized it was necessary? Maybe I'm glad I waited 9 months from when I first brought it in for the TSB brake squeal service and got the runaround
I had mine done in June 26 at ~16K miles. No squeak since. And hopefully a while before I need to replace the pads again.

On my Tundra they installed new rotors, pads, and all the hardware.

My dealer called me the other day and told me my parts are in this Friday. I’m taking in to have it fixed. They said they’re changing the pads the springs and the rotors because it’s 4 x 4 if it was 2 Wheel Dr. it would be just the springs and the pads that’s what he told me. I will let everybody know how it works out.

Has anyone had the TSB completed for the squealing front brakes in reverse? My local dealer ordered parts in December and I haven’t heard anything yet. They say the parts are still on order.

Yup I brought mine in almost 2 months ago. I’m waiting on parts still.
