Upgraded to the Bilstein 5100 shocks. Fronts running factory springs at 2.2” clip (#5) and rears on 5100’s with OME 3344 rear coil springs. Rides better, looks better, worth it!

Pic is from the shop, goes for alignment tomorrow. Sitting on 285/65/18 tires for reference.

How’s ride comfort compared to stock? I’m still deciding what rear springs to pair with my 6112/6100s. I’ve seen some people run eibach or Dobinsons rear springs as well.

Noticeably better. It felt like the stock rear suspension was either bottoming or topping out and was pretty harsh. This combo solved that. I ran 5100’s and OME springs on my third gen for about 8 years with no complaints. For my usage, the 5100’s just work.

Looks very nice!
Would you be able to measure from center hub to bottom of fender flare as I would like to see what height you got at the 2.2 clip setting. Mine are being installed next week and this would help me big time, thanks.

Looks like 22.25” and the rear is 23” even.

That’s great to hear! Maybe I’ll run this setup with my 6112w then if it’s gives me better ride comfort. I don't think I’ve seen many setups with the Bilsteins quite yet sadly. What’s the spring rate on these? I might compare this with Dobinsons and icon spring rates.

Didn’t pay attention on the alignment numbers, but did see green across the board. The issue I ran into there was finding a shop (besides the dealer) with a new enough update for the 2025’s. I ended up finding a local shop with a brand new machine though, so he had the latest updates.

Spring rates are on the specs on their website. https://store.arbusa.com/coil-spring-set-rear-3344/ I ran the same medium load springs on my 3rd gen and liked the ride.

These look like a great option. Just curious, If I wanted to do 5100's front and rear, and wanted to keep the 2.2" in the front with a little less rake - what would be the best way to do that? You mentioned being at 22.25" front which is great, but I would like to pair that with around 22.5" rear.

Also, is $600 a good price for all four 5100 shocks? Thanks for any help, I new to this!

You could add a spacer in the rear or go with something like the Icon spring that gives .75” of lift and set the front at the 1.65” clip.

And $600 is right, they’ll get cheaper after about a year I’d suspect, but for the time being that’s a fair price.
