I have an Everest Green 4 runner Off Road Premium. And I'm actually impressed that it doesn't scratch as easily as my 2022 Tacoma Lunar Rock. I feel like the Tacoma would show clear coar swirls just by looking at it. However, I don't have this issue with the everest green 4 runner. I do hand washes with micro fiber mitts using 2 bucket method. Before hand washes, I do a spray and rinse with a foam cannon using a 1200 psi pressure washer with a 4.5 orfice.

I've got the Cutting Edge silver and had it ceramic coating and it's been great and as scratch proof as I'm going to be able to do. I came from a black 5th gen and I'll never own another black vehicle !

I have a Black TRD Pro and the only way to keep myself from doing my head in was to do a full body Xpel Stealth PPF. Expensive for sure, but cheaper in the long run than my therapy bills...

Same, my 22 black Tacoma would scratch if you looked at it wrong. My Everest ORP paint is a hundred times better, barely any swirls or scratches after 8 months with weekly off road driving.

I currently have a 25 TRD Sport in Underground and I feel like I get scratches and swirls just by a gust of wind lol. I’ve always hand washed this. Long story short I was rear ended and I’m considering trading it in now that it has been repaired for a 26 4Runner in Heritage Blue

Does Heritage Blue scratch just as easy or is there another color that is less scratch and swirl resistant?
I have the same Underground. It barely leaves the driveway and I swear every time I take it out I see new scratches. In March it will be a year and I’m at 2800 miles. Is Toyota paint this bad? I’m at a loss as well. I really with they had some shimmer and not just the flat colors, as options.

Everest here. it has no swirls because I hand wash, but clearcoat scratches ( soft green bush branch and self made ) super easy. Rock chips are a staple.

Fart a little too hard next to it and done.

I would do ice cap if i had the option like you OP>

Yup, this the one. Dead bush branches smoked me in Jersey.

Mudbath so far is hiding everything really well.

I’m too lazy to hand wash it all the time so i run it through scratch central (aka the car wash) and it still looks good.

Thanks for all your reply’s. I should hopefully be taking delivery of a TRD Off-road Premium in Heritage Blue tomorrow. Blue is my favorite color and hopefully it’s not a scratch magnet like my Underground
