Hey guys,

I've begun putting together a repository for information related to rebuilding and regearing differentials on the 2025+ 4Runners. Currently, I have OEM partnumbers referenced in a chart on our blog which is where I brain-dump information like this. I've previously compiled info for Nissan differentials and am doing this now for the new Toyota applications.

We recently ordered a used 8" front clamshell and 8.2 open rear differential which I will be breaking down and recording (typically Koyo) partnumbers and their crossreference to Toyota OEM, along with shim thicknesses / pinion depth info. Hopefully these units arrive next week and I can work to significantly expand the available info during the month of February. Later, we will add info for the locking rear diff as well.

Anyways, here's the link and I look forward to helping kick-start regear projects on these platforms!

I think the TRD Pro and Trailhunter has a bigger size rear diff. 9" or sth.
You think correctly. I am starting with the 8 and 8.2 because I have an SR5 and I will be regearing once I've completed this work. I will be adding info for the locking rear diff later on.
