Awesome response! Thank youThey route the intake charge in through the intercooler and out into the intake tract . Stock tubes are rubber hoses with metal connectors, replacements are usually constructed of aluminum tubing with silicone and billet aluminum connectors Aftermarket are usually larger diameter and dissipate heat where rubber won't, and aftermarket tubes shouldn't flex. The reduction of restrictions in the intake tract reduce heat while increasing flow which will make a little more power. Are these a game changer? A little, but when adding a CAI, a better Turbo inlet, exhaust and tune, these items can make a beneficial difference. I don't think these are for our pocket protector, slide rule crowd worried about how to soften their ride. Heat is the enemy of power and these definitely help
