Yes I think that PIN will be the right choice to keep my hitch ball.

I have not had my hitch receiver rubber plug stolen yet but I could see my trailer hitch as it is also worth about $100 being easily removed.

I do like that diode light system you have is that a brake light? and is it plugged into your trailer connection I can't see the wires.
Thanks again for that info.
Yes. But I don't have the TBC. Some have said that if you do have the TBC, it will be a problem...

I mostly use my trailer hitch and ball, at least I did with my 5th gen this new 6th gen is so new I'm still breaking it in but getting ready.
It's odd because when I was looking at the Land Cruiser up close I noticed that it had a very very large plug for the trailer hitch receiver. I was thinking that would probably be a very expensive item if it was lost.
Now I'm seeing that the 4Runner is susceptible to that.

My third and 5th gen had the smaller type rubber plugs in them and I never thought twice about having it stolen.

But the large amount of vagrancy that seems to be popping up around the Metro areas puts me on guard! And I really hate having to live with this ongoing developing Fear Factor that is happening in society but I digress. Thanks all I'm out.
